Soccer, mud puddles and sprinklers.
Back at the beginning of the quarantine-lord, that feels like forever ago!- we spent our evenings outdoors playing with our daughter. We would soak in the last few hours of the Spring sun with soccer, dancing, making mud puddles and running through the sprinklers. Whilst I am writing this, it is 105° outside and we are hunkered down, with the a/c blasting in an attempt to beat the blazing heat. I find myself dreaming of cooler days and definitely cooler evenings. Our daughter and I are extremely heat sensitive and my husband works outside, which makes us creatures of the indoors from about June to late October, aside from weekly visits to my parents nearby pool. We are already planning outings for when the temperatures drop and that cool evening breeze moves in.
