Playing with my new 85mm lens
Yesterday, I was able to take our silly little girl outside and play around with my new 85mm lens.
My husband bought it for me as a birthday present (my birthday is December 23rd) and it came in early and it’s been so fun to get to know!
Our playful daughter, loves to dance, jump, twirl and all around pretend to be a ballerina. So, I knew that she would be the perfect test subject!
And boy did she have fun doing just that!
I cannot wait to use it on a photoshoot!
Soccer, mud puddles and sprinklers.
Back at the beginning of the quarantine-lord, that feels like forever ago!- we spent our evenings outdoors playing with our daughter. We would soak in the last few hours of the Spring sun with soccer, dancing, making mud puddles and running through the sprinklers. Whilst I am writing this, it is 105° outside and we are hunkered down, with the a/c blasting in an attempt to beat the blazing heat. I find myself dreaming of cooler days and definitely cooler evenings. Our daughter and I are extremely heat sensitive and my husband works outside, which makes us creatures of the indoors from about June to late October, aside from weekly visits to my parents nearby pool. We are already planning outings for when the temperatures drop and that cool evening breeze moves in.
